As you work your way through this blog you will encounter a lot of Hawaiian words. I know how frustrating they can be so the first time a particular word is encountered in the text there will be this pronunciation key symbol after the word: If you hover your cursor over the key, a box with the English pronunciation will be shown. Ka Lae - South Point

This is the southern most place in the USA and it is one of the, if not the most, historic sites in Hawaii. It is thought to be the most probable place humans first set foot on the islands.
