I know how frustrating they can be so the first time a particular word is encountered in the text there will be this pronunciation key symbol after the word: If you hover your cursor over the key, a box with the English pronunciation will be shown. Punalu'u black sand beach is a beauitiful place located in a remote area of the Big Island. Hawaiian sea turtles are often seen sunning themselves on this georgous black sand beach.

I have been to Hawaii several times in the last 10 years. I make it a point to make sure that I visit this spot. It is really a cool thing to see. It's not exactly like real sand like you would think. it actually seems to be a bit larger and has a sharper feel to it.
